Saeritha. The name is unknown to me, but that in itself is not such a surprise. How I would have liked to observe how the Jewel coped with such a process of deliberation. How much of this decision we owe to our Prince. All? None at all? Either is equally plausible.
Razen will have to wait. I -- need him here, awhile longer. This thing in our city that has seeded, well. Of course it must be cultivated, carefully. And tamed.

I believe I owe a number of you an apology for my long standing absence from these pages. I hope that you will accept this and my personal resolution to tend to these better in the future.
I would also like to extend my belated well wishes for the year ahead. My mother often told me that time is only what you make of it. She was a very wise woman.
