Not the end I would have hoped for. Still, I can't complain. I can forgive that Sir Ezren will no longer pester you, Faedya, so long as he is no longer pestering me, as well. In that way you've solved a problem we've shared.
However briefly.
In a way, I'm glad for it. I thought this would be simple to the point of risking boredom. How amusing that Ezren would come to me begging that I convince you to let him stay. You've scrambled his ambitions, you know, though I doubt you realize the full extent of it. You were a tempting distraction for him, yes, but what he really wanted ...
Well, that was obvious enough.
