Very good, Yvaena.

Not so forceful as to turn the flock away. Perfectly reasonable arguments presented with such impassioned delivery. All for the good for your Goddesses, of course. What does personal ambition have to do with ensuring the people have a voice at the Prophet's side?

Or in place of her. I can see it happening, now. There will be a struggle when Melyndra returns, no doubt, but by then our roots will be very deep. Her attempts to uproot them with be met with resistance. The people will grow weary of her attitude, her presumption that their choice is not suitable to sit her inner circle. The entire thing will unravel around her ...

I will enjoy watching this happen.

Would you approve, Mother? I can't help but think so. You were never one to suffer blows without answer, either, and this is just the sort of warfare you always advocated waging.

It has been some time since I have seen such anticipation for the Day of Everlasting Light. In fact, I can't recall having ever seen quite so much in my lifetime.

Whatever the reason, it is good to see the people of Cleraine so absorbed in celebratory matters. The tone of the city has been reasonably somber for some time. Perhaps too much so. It's something I've worried about, I'll admit.

But the skyline more closely resemble my memory of it each day. It does lift my own spirits to see, and I imagine that I'm not alone in that, either.
