At least that is something I can work with.

I thought it my duty to let you know, as a friend as much as a Council member, that your brother and his retainer are getting a trial for their accused crime, in about two weeks time.
However, I truly apologize for how matters have played out, and any discomfort it's caused you. Hopefully you will not think any less of Prince Reeve. It is his father, after all.
