Now, here is a day that I am glad to be away from Razen for. Though I would have liked to see her at Gideon Eshene's gathering, if half of what I could infer from Reeve's distress was true. Truly majestic behavior, no? I'm sure she turns heads wherever she goes. As ever.
I doubt my Queen will want my well wishes. It's a pity that Joseph will miss it, however. Another opportunity missed ... but with any luck, it's likely to be the last.
Melyndra should be making her grand return soon enough. It's possible that she will have words to add to those of her daughter, isn't it? After all, there's little doubt that she will be told everything that girl knows, and everything she thinks she knows as well. That could very well be worse.
It won't be pleasant, mollifying her. The girl is one thing. The girl was not the one who murdered Laeleena of Atsir. When I see that woman --
