Not so much as a word to me personally, and yet she has Festival gifts delivered to my doorstep.
I'm almost disappointed.
Gossip suggests that she has solved the last crisis we left her neatly enough, but that doesn't surprise me. Faella never truly wished to leave her side. She would accept any lifeline her Prophet saw fit to throw her. What is she, after all, without a mistress to delegate her orders? She would be lost. Still, it would be prudent to maintain that link, however tenuous.
The Festival itself ... it's odd to consider. Conversing with Aes only underlines the fact, really. Here, as I am now -- I have never been so alone.
In some ways, it's a relief.
In others ...
Well. My advisors would have any number of not-so-subtle suggestions, in the face of that.
